What's with the weird Chinese character?
This character represents the name of Confucius. Some call him a teacher. Others call him a prophet or mentor. Whatever we may call him, Confucius is recognized the world over for his great wisdom and intellect.
Wisdom in all its forms can take many years to attain. As such, I continue to learn to increase my skill set so that I can serve you better.

With the birth of the internet a whole new style of marketing was introduced. In today's world, if your company does not have a web site, customers will not be able to find you. It doesn't matter if you own a small business with a niche market or a large business. The fact of the matter is that when people need a service, they turn to the internet first to find it. Most people enjoy the ability to find out about a business silently. That is, without having to call and speak with someone about their services. Being able to find a business online and see their services as well as their prices allows consumers to be better informed, and quite frankly makes the business selection process much easier.
Web sites have also become a way to legitimize your brick and mortar business. Yet, designing and coding a web site can be a difficult task for most people. Sure, there are plenty of applications that allow you to "quickly" build a web site and get your company up on the internet by the end of the day. However, designing a web site takes more knowledge than an application can produce. How can you get your site listed first on the major search engines higher than your competitors? It takes refining, adjusting the HTML code that generates the page, and optimizing the pages for search engines. After all, you do want your business to be found, don't you? Furthermore, most WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors only come with a few basic themes to choose from. Do you want your site to look like your competitors, or do you want your site to stand out?
You have a few choices. You can either try designing your web site alone, or you can hire somebody that knows what they are doing. Ask yourself this, can you really afford the money, time, and energy that it takes to figure out how to use one of those complicated WYSIWYG editors and still not get the design you want? Wouldn't it just be more cost effective to hire a professional?
Take a look around my site. If you see anything you like and might be interested in hiring me for your next web site project, contact me. It doesn't hurt to do a little research and ask some questions. And, making the right decision now can save you time and money in the long run.
